Starting August 1, Yichang has increased the reimbursement standard for covered employees under the maternity insurance scheme for outpatient prenatal examination costs from 500 yuan to 1,000 yuan per pregnancy cycle.

　　The Yichang Municipal Healthcare Security Administration released on September 5 that since the new policy was implemented, the healthcare security departments of Yichang have settled maternity-related medical expenses of outpatients for 4,357 cases, totaling 1.08 million yuan.
