1. If the residence permit is renewed, the relevant certification materials shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements of the application for the residence permits.

　　2. Ifthere is a change in the registration of a foreigner's residence permit, the certificate holder shall, within 10 days from the date of the change in the registration item, apply to Entry and Exit Administration Department of the local public security organ for a change and provide the relevant application materials.

　　(1) If there areany changes of personal basic information such as name, passport number and accompanying person, the certificate material related to the changesshall be provided(if there are changes of personal information, such as the name, date of birth, etc., the note issued by the consulate of the state stationed in china shall be offered; if there isincrease of the accompanying person, the birth certificate of the newborn and the parents’ passportsshallbe provided.)

　　(2) If there are changes of the cause of residence, relevant materials that can prove the end of the original cause and the beginning of the new cause shall be provided. If the certificates arechanged into working residence permits, aliens shall also submit proof materials that meet the requirements for the introduction of foreign high-level talents and urgently needed specialized personnel as determined by the competent authorities of the Chinese Government. Applying for residence permits shall be in accordance with the application procedure.

　　3. If there are loss, robbery or damage of the residence permits, aliens shall provide the “passport loss certificates” issued by Entry and Exit Administration Department,the newly received passports or international travel documents, or aliens shall show the damaged residence permits and apply for new residence permits in accordance with the application process for residence permits.
