3.When applying for a renewal of visa M, you are obliged to answer relevant questions and to submit the following documents:
(1) Original and photocopy of your valid passport and visa;

(4) Registration Form of Temporary Residence;
(5) Proof of family membership (family members include a spouse, parents, spouses’ parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, and children’s spouses);
(6) Letters issued by relatives in Yichang;
(7) Identification of relatives in Yichang (checking the original and offering the photocopy): Local residentsprovide ID card and household register; non-local residentsprovide ID card and Yichang residence permit; Hong Kong and Macao residents provide Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents and Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors in Yichang; Taiwan residents provide Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents and Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors in Yichang; Overseas Chinese provide Chinese Passport, identification of permanent residence abroad and Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors in Yichang; permanent foreign residents with permanent residence card provide Foreigner’s Permanent Residence Card (For non-local applications, Accommodation Registration Form for Foreigners at least six months in Yichang should be provided.);
(8) Other documents considered as necessary by the public security authority.
5. When applying for a renewal of visa R, you are obliged to answer relevant questions and to submit the following documents:
(1) Original and photocopy of your valid passport and visa;
(2) Completed Form of Application for Visa and Residence Permit;
(3) One Visa photograph for Foreigners in Hubei Province and a receipt of such photograph;
(4) Registration Form of Temporary Residence;
(5)The applicant shall meet the qualifications and requirements set by the competent authorities of the Chinese government for inviting persons of high talent or urgently needed specialists, and the applicant shall, in accordance with relevant provisions, submit the relevant certification documents;
(6) A letter of the reception unit (written by “our unit is responsible for the invitation, the reception content, the authenticity of the facts, if any falsity, we would bear all the legal responsibility”);

6. When applying for a renewal of visa S2, you are obliged to answer relevant questions and to submit the following documents:
(1) Original and photocopy of your valid passport and visa;
(2) Completed Form of Application for Visa and Residence Permit;
(3) One (1) Visa photograph for Foreigners in Hubei Province and a receipt of such photograph;
(4) Registration Form of Temporary Residence;
(5) Other documents related to the application:
(5.1) Applicant’s proof of family membership (family members include a spouse, parents, spouses’ parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, and children’s spouses); photocopy (checking the original) of passport, visa, residence permit of the foreigner to be visited, letter issued by the foreigner to be visited;
(5.2) Foreigners receiving medical aid and services in Yichang should submit hospital or medical service proof from medical institute at the county level or above, non-public medical institutions should also issue registration certificates;
(5.3) The certification documents required for dealing with personal matters in China;
(6) Other documents considered as necessary by the public security authority.
7. When applying for a renewal of visa X2, you are obliged to answer relevant questions and to submit the following documents:
(1) Original and photocopy of your valid passport and visa;
(2) Completed Form of Application for Visa and Residence Permit;
(3) One (1) Visa photograph for Foreigners in Hubei Province and a receipt of such photograph;
(4) Registration Form of Temporary Residence;
(5) A letter indicating the duration of study provided by the educational and training institutions;
(6) Photocopy (checking the original) of the educational and training institutions registration certificate (Copy of business license of enterprise legal person, copy of institution legal person registration certificate, registration of foreign units, etc.);
(7) Other documents considered as necessary by the public security authority.
8. Other visa Renewal:
(1) Those who can apply for an ordinary visa due to your passport expiring or running out of visa pages should submit your passports used on your current entry or the relevant certificates issued by the embassy or consulate of the country which has already withdrawn their passports at this time of entry. The ordinary visa with the same original visa type, validity period of entry and duration of stay can be issued. And the number of visas is issued according to the remaining number of valid entries for the original visa.
(2) If the number of foreigners needs to beaddedafter entering the country, the added passport, birth certificate and the passports’ parents shall be provided. The ordinary visa with the same original visa type, validity period of entry and duration of stay can be issued. And the number of visas is issued according to the remaining number of valid entries for the original visa.
(3) If you apply for separated stay holding group visa after entering the country, you shall provide a letter of the travel agency and provide the corresponding application materials in accordance with the renewal requirements for the 7 types of visas such as F, J2, M, Q2, R, S2, and X2.
(4) Other renewal conditions that conform to the requirements prescribed by the state shall be handled in accordance with the state regulations.
