Scholarship Introduction:
In order to actively participate in the “Belt and Road” initiation and further strengthen the education exchange and cooperation with India, Nepal and Sri Lanka, a delegation of Hubei Provincial Department of Education (hereinafter referred to as HPDE) visited India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka in 2017. In view of China Three Gorges University (hereinafter referred to as CTGU) endowed with rich experience in international students education and have made outstanding contributions to the education of international students in Hubei Province, HPDE set up the government scholarship and authorized CTGU to recruit and fully sponsor the excellent students from the above mentioned three countries to study at CTGU as exchange students and postgraduate students.

Master of Translation and Interpretation (MTI)
Master of International Education of Chinese language

2. Exchange Programs, 5-10 months of schooling (please seeAttachment 2as a detailed courses list)
Eligibility for Exchange Students:
1. 18-35 years old; Indian, Nepalese or Sri Lankan passport holders;
2. Chinese friendly, in good physical and mental health, hardworking, academically excellent students recommended by CTGU’s cooperative universities
3. Proficient in English, with good English skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
5. Those who with basic Chinese language skills will be preferred.
Application Documents for Exchange Students:
1. Completed CTGU Application Form for International Student with signature (Please complete the form onlineathttp://lsx.ctgu.edu.cn/, and send us the scanned copy of the form with your signature)
2. Copy of Passport (Photo Page)
3. Photocopy of the Highest Academic Degree
4. Recommendation letter from the home university
5. Official Academic Transcript from the home university
6. Study Plan (or selected courses)
7. Records of Health Examination
8. Non-criminal Record Certificate
Eligibility for Master’s Applicants:
1. 18-35 years old; Indian, Nepalese or Sri Lankan passport holders;
2. Chinese Friendly; in good physical and mental health; hardworking; academically excellent
3. Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
4. English or Chinese proficiency request upon the teaching language of the relevant discipline and corresponding supervisors’ requirements.

2. Passport copy (Photo Page)
3. Copies of the visa page and residence permit if the applicant is in China
4. Bachelor’s Degree Certificate
5. Academic Transcript
6. Two Recommendation Letters
7.Study Plan
8. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (please see Attachment 3 as a sample)
9.Non-criminal Record Certificate
10. Statement of Education Background in China should be provided if the applicant is in China (please see Attachment 4 as a sample)
11. Other documents required by the relevant departments or supervisors, such as a language certificate, etc.

1. Create an account with your email;
2. Verify by your email (you'll get an email, so please check your email box);
3. Sign in (by the website address in your email box) to activate your account;
4. Application online;
5. Program (Hubei Government Scholarship)--Type--choose the relevant department and major;
6. Complete the following relevant information and upload all the required documents;
7. Submit your application and print the application form.
8.Attention:The online application requiresJPGorJPEGorPNGuploads of all the documentswithin 1 M.
