On May 27,a press conference held by the city government witnessed the great achievements of Yichang Pilot Free Trade Zone since its listing two years ago.

　　"In the Overall Plan of Hubei Free Trade Zone,165 reform pilot tasks are designed for Yichang, 142 of which have been completed and the starting rate reached 100%. On the conference, the relevant leaders in charge of Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone (Yichang zone) announced the fruitful results of reform and innovation.Since its listing in April 2017, Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone (Yichang zone) has been actively adopting the rules of international investment and trade to vigorously promote the landing of reform pilot tasks and accelerate the institutional innovation,achieving remarkable results.

　　As for the 171 replication and promotion tasks identified by the State Council and the provincial government,Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone (Yichang zone) has completed 131 projects with a completion rate of 77%, of which 122 tasks have won the achievements of institutional innovation. Up to now 22 have been selected as the case of "reform pilot experience" and "practice" in Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone.In the first half of this year, three "reform pilot experience"cases and six "practice cases" have been replicated and promoted in the province.In addition, "Credit Visualization" has been nominated by the National Credit City Summit, and "Mobile Electronic Business License Application" has been promoted all over the country.

　　"Two-way opening" is another highlight of Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone (Yichang zone).The relevant official in charge of Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone (Yichang zone)says, Yichang Free Trade zonetook the lead in opening "Yichang-Wuhan-Hamburg", "Yichang-Xi'an-Tashkent" and other international regular trains in the third batch of prefecture-level cities of the Free Trade Zone in China, opening the international rail-water inter modal transport corridor"Yichang-Qinzhou-Brazil Gudang (Malaysia)", and initially constructing the international logistics corridor system in all directions of east, west, north and south.At present, there are 33 foreign-invested enterprises settled in Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone (Yichang zone). In addition, the construction of Yichang Comprehensive Free Trade Zone is accelerating, and is expected to meet the operational conditions for customs clearance by the end of the year.

　　The free trade zone also is sensational in the introduction of international talents. It is reported that Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone (Yichang zone) took the lead in introducing reform measures such as" demand-first application for visa of foreign high-level talents" and"one-stop service for foreigners to China"throughout the province,and established “talent trains” in the government affairs hall of Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone (Yichang zone) to provide "one-stop" services for foreign talents’entering, settling and employment, making it easier for them to work here.

　　According to statistics,during the two years since its listing, there have been 5,092 new market entities in Hubei Pilot Free Trade Zone (Yichang zone), including 2,952 enterprises.The cumulative use of foreign capital reached 130 million U.S. dollars; the value of the supervision of the Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center has exceeded 2.3 billion yuan, ranking the first in Hubei province.
