“Is the tax preferential policy only for enterprises within the special supervision area of the customs?” “What kind of preferential treatment does the customs have for processing trade enterprises?” On May 30, Yichang Free Trade Zone held the training activities of the second phase of “Direct Free Trade” & policies of the special customs supervision area. Yichang Customs conducted training on 18 key foreign trade enterprises, including beneficial policies of customs business, special supervision area of customs, free trade area, and Three Gorges Bonded Logistics Center (Type B), and had face-to-face communications and Q&A.

　　According to the responsible person of the relevant business of Yichang Customs, within the special supervision area of the customs, enterprises enjoy tax preferences, bonded supervision and dividends of foreign exchange policy such as exemption from import tariffs and link taxes on import of capital construction materials and equipment, bonded entry of imported goods, export rebate for imported goods, selective collection of tariffs on domestic sales, exemption from VAT and consumption tax for goods transactions among enterprises in the region.
