High-tech zone tax bureau found banks to communicate and both sides hit it off. Soon, four tax self-service terminals are settled in 24-hour self-service branches of Bank of Communications in Jindongshan Building Materials Market and 24-hour self-service of bank-tax cooperation began to be piloted. This becomes another innovative measure which isthe first time to launch in Yichang Free Trade Zone in Hubei Province.

At self-service area in bank tax work, merchants not only deal with financial business, but also get invoices, finish tax declaration, print voucher, query tax risk report, complete special invoices for value-added tax deduction certification and tax-related self-service, achieving one-stop service.

　　Fu Huijuan, head of Tax Service Hall of Tax Bureau in High-tech Zone introduces that 24-hour self-service of bank-tax cooperation extends service time, meets diverse needs of taxpayers and also improves work efficiency and service, making market entities surrounding Jindongshan area enjoy “full functions, self-service and 24 hours” tax service. “Especially during the epidemic, this kind of contactless tax service is at the right time.”

　　Running for more than a year, this convenient branch is gradually known and used by surrounding businesses. The latest statistics show that about 50 merchants receive invoices through self-service terminals every month, with a total of 7,188 old invoices checked and 4,846 invoices received up to now.

　　“It is so convenient that you can get your invoice back in 10 minutes,” says Mr. Hu excitedly. It gives small businesses an easy life since they use less invoices.

　　The service is piloted and explored while optimized and improved at the same time. At present, Tax Bureau of High-tech Zone is deepening cooperation with Bank of Communications to upgrade hardware facilities and explore the integration of bank and tax self-service into one terminal to achieve one-end processing. Meanwhile, tax authorities will jointly launch “tax credit”, “export credit” and other service measures with Bank of Communications to create an “upgraded version” of bank-tax cooperation and provide considerate services for medium, small and micro enterprises and export-oriented market players.

　　“After implementation of 24-hour self-service bank tax cooperation, taxpayer, tax authorities and the bank got tripartite wins.” Liu Changqing, head of Reform and Promotion Division in Innovation and Promotion Bureau of Yichang Free Trade Zone, says that this innovation initiative provides a constructive direction for cooperation and innovation among banks, public resources trading centers, government online service hall and other platforms, and accumulates experience of bank-government cooperation.
