Yichang High-tech Zone: Better Service Brings More Convenience to the Public
2020-12-16 11:10:20

“I thought I would have to run an extra errand just for the photos that I forgot to bring; however, a staff took the initiative to take photos and print them for me. It took only 10 minutes.” Li Shuangqin, head of Helikangda Electrical Appliance business department in Yichang High-tech Zone, said with gratitude while mentioning her experience of applying for employment and entrepreneurship certificate on November 20.

On November 19, Li Shuangqin came to Yichang High-tech Zone Integrated Services Hall for employment and entrepreneurship certificate. “To applying for a paper employment and entrepreneurship certificate requires providing a recent two-inch color photo, I went out in a hurry and forgot to bring photos, so I thought I would have to run another errand.” Li said, to her surprise, there has been a free photo printing service in the Integrated Service Hall, so the problem was solved immediately.

“Many people can’t get things done once because of trivial matters such as forgetting to bring their photos.” said Jian Longjian, director of the Government Services Bureau of Yichang High-tech Zone. Therefore, the Government Services Bureau has installed printer equipment and arranged staffs to help the people who need to get photos printed, so as to avoid people “running unnecessary errands”.

At present, Yichang High-tech Zone has sorted out the first batch of government services list, involving 33 matters concerning certifications and licenses from 16 departments. The materials required for the items in the List will all be obtained through electronic license calls and internal verification of the authority departments, etc., and enterprises and the people will no longer be required to self-certify and repeatedly submit.

“We will adhere to the service concept of ‘efficiency and convenience’ to benefit enterprises and the people to the greatest extent, striving to make it possible for them to avoid detours.” Jian said, at present, the Yichang High-tech Zone is fully promoting the “one-stop service” at the grass-roots level in townships (streets) and villages (communities), and constantly improving the convenience and satisfaction of enterprises and the people.
