On June 25, the bonded processing project of imported food raw materials (Phase I) of Angel Yeast (Hubei Free Trade Zone) Co., Ltd. was officially put into production in the C4 plant in Yichang Comprehensive Bonded Zone. At the three-storey “dust-free workshop”, with automatic production lines running, various imported food raw materials were developing into the products needed by clients through solid state fermentation, separation and purification of their derivatives and other technologies.

　　Zhang Zuping, deputy general manager of Angel Yeast (Hubei Free Trade Zone) Co., Ltd, introduced that the project mainly takes advantage of the preferential policies of bonded and duty-free imported products and free tariffs quotas for imported agricultural products in the Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and import flour, sugar, milk powder and other major raw materials from Russia, Thailand, Europe and other countries and regions, mixing them with domestically purchased baking powder, modified starch, monoglyceride, enzymic preparations and other raw materials to produce baked and fermented pastry and other products under bonded. The most notable feature of the project is the personalized customization and flexible production. The annual production capacity is expected to be 5,000 tons, with an output value of 30 million yuan, paying customs duties and value-added taxes (including import and domestic trade sections) 6 million yuan.
