Yichang’s third release conference on urban innovation scenario projects this year (the Yichang High-Tech Zone conference) was held at the Taohualing Hotel on the morning of August 25. A total of seven major urban innovation scenario projects from five companies were promoted and released, covering several leading industries such as new materials in the modern chemical industry, life health, new energy and high-end equipment. The conference aimed to gather talents from all over the world to achieve their dreams in Yichang High-Tech Zone.

　　The release conference, co-hosted by the Talent Office of the Yichang Municipal Committee of the CPC and Yichang High-Tech Zone, promoted the long-acting crystalline sustained-release injection preparation project and the transdermal microneedle macromolecule drug administration technology project of Yichang Humanwell Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., the project of relevant technical requirements for the lithium battery industry and the import substitution of high-end fluorine materials and high-end application technology project of Yihua Group, the full-chain integrated industrial park project of Brunp, the Huagong Industrial Technology Research Institute (Yichang) project, the project of key technology and equipment research and development of large-scale forming gear grinding machine of Yichang Changjiang Machine Technology Co., Ltd.

　　In recent years, Yichang High-Tech Zone has actively implemented the strategy of talent-driven development and innovation-driven development, upgraded the Three Gorges Talent Program, and enacted new policies for scientific and technological innovation rewards. Every year, 18 million yuan is used for talent subsidies, and a total of 120 million yuan has been cashed in as a scientific and technological innovation reward for three consecutive years. The purpose is to fulfill sincere promises with the investment of funds, reward practical innovations and create a pleasant environment for more talents.

And Huagong Industrial Technology Research Institute, the first local industrial research institute built by a national key university, has been established. The zone is making efforts to build itself into the scientific and technological innovation source and gathering area in the Yichang-Jingzhou-Jingmen Metropolitan Coordinating Region. Yichang High-Tech Zone has been approved as a national entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration base and a national high-end talent-led characteristic zone.
