The signing ceremony of the Yichang Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Center of Wuhan University of Technology was held on March 30, adding another high-level industry-university-research cooperation platform to the Yichang High-Tech Zone.

　　This platform is jointly built by the Yichang High-Tech Zone Management Committee, Wuhan University of Technology, and Yichang Industry Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd. It aims to further strengthen cooperation between universities and local governments, accelerate the transformation and implementation of scientific and technological achievements of Wuhan University of Technology in Yichang, and promote the deep integration of innovation chains, industrial chains, and talent chains. Relying on the advantages of talents, disciplines, and achievements of Wuhan University of Technology, it vigorously carries out work such as innovative talent training, key technology research and development, transformation of sci-tech-achievements, and incubation of sci-tech enterprises by integrating high-quality resources and gathering elements of innovation and entrepreneurship, developing new productive forces, and providing talent and intellectual support for the transformation and upgrading of Yichang enterprises and high-quality development.

　　In the past five years, Wuhan University of Technology has conducted in-depth cooperation in industry, academia, and research with more than 40 enterprises and institutions in Yichang, such as Yihua Group, Xingfa Group, Hubei Three Gorges Laboratory, and Humanwell Pharmaceutical.
