On January 16, Yichang New Tech Zone signed an agreement worth a total investment of 1 billion yuan with Luoyang Lianchuang Lithium Energy Technology Company. The project will yield an annual output of 10,000 tons of silicon-carbon anode material for new energy batteries. The first phase of the project will cover a total area of more than 33,000 square meters to support the construction of the facilities with a production capacity of 2,000 tons of silicon-carbon anode material, as well as the supporting infrastructure. Upon completion and reaching its designed capacity, the project is expected to generate annual sales revenue of 3 billion yuan and contribute approximately 100 million yuan in annual taxes.
