　　As a newcomer, Li Yang, led by his good friend, climbed the Moji mountain to see the whole picture of the world’s hydropower capital at the commanding heights of the city.Overlooking the city, Li Yang was amazed by the prosperity and beauty of Yichang with enormous and powerfulriver and tall buildings.

　　After walking down the Moji mountain, hestrolledonthe Yiling Yangtze River Bridge, and thentook a taxi back to schoolwith his friends. However, unluckily he forgothis wallet and cellphone on the taxifor he was so excited and concentrated talking with his friends. Because he couldn’t remember the license plate number and was not familiar with the language, he was tooanxious tosleep well.

　　Early the next morning, the taxi driver appeared in front of Li Yang with his wallet and cell phone, making LiYang surprised and pleased. It turned out that seeing the lost phone on the taxi, the taxi driver soon concluded that the phone belongs to a foreign students from China Three Gorges Universityfor the lock screen of the mobile phone was the picture of a foreign boywho dropped off at CTGU.The next day he drove to Nanyuan International Student Apartment as soon as he got to workto look for the foreign boy by showing the photo to otherstudents living there.And finally, hefound Li Yang. In the witness of several foreign students, Li Yang took back the lost phone. ThenLi Yangsaid that he wanted to treatthe drivera meal to express his gratitude, but the driver declined politely.

　　Though only few days passed since he cameto Yichang, Li Yang was deeply moved by the morality of Yichang people.

　　During the weekend, Li Yang often goesshopping with his friends atCBD, WandaPlaza, RT-MARTand other places. Interestingly, they were destined to be friends.One day in Oct.2016, Li Yang greeted Lei Chentaoin the hall when he was handlingbusiness at Three Gorges Branch of China Construction Bank. After only two weeks, theymet again. When Lei Chentaolined up to buy cold medicationin the Second Hospitalin Yichang, he met Li Yang, who was caring for the classmate in the hospital. The fate waswonderful. After that they addedeach other to their WeChat. For Lei Chentaowas justgraduated from university and his English was not bad,they soon became good friendsand Lei Chentaooften invited Li Yang and his classmates to have a chat.

　　As New Yearapproached, Lei Chentaolearned that Li Yang did not return to his hometown of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He worried that Li Yang would be alone in a foreign country, so he invitedLi Yangto come to his home to celebrate Chinese New year.

　　On the morning of the Chinese New Year, Lei ChentaopickedLi Yang and his two classmates up and drove back to his hometown Majiadian Town in Zhijiang County. When theygot off the bus, they ate areunion dinnerin time.For it wasthe first time a foreigner came to the house for the Chinese New Year, Lei Chentao’s uncle took out the good wine that he had collectedfor them. Taking into account the habits of foreign guests, the hospitable family deliberately moved the meat dishes aside. Li Yang and his classmates were much moved. During the reunion dinner, they sentthe New Year wishes toeach other,doing as the Romans do. Inthe first two daysof thenew year, Lei Chentaotookthree foreignstudents to pay a New Yearcallaround the Zhijiang, exercise andgo sightseeing, offeringthem a happy New Year with the “Yichang characteristics”.Li Yang said excitedly, “This is amazing!”

　　At the beginning of this year, when a friend of Li Yang changed planes in Shenzhen, there were some misunderstandings,due tocommunication barriers. Li Yang immediately thought of Lei Chentao. After hearing the situation, Lei Chenyu quickly contacted the airport customer service department. Under the patient explanation, Li Yang’s friends were able to board the plane and return to school smoothly.
