Recently, an article about "foreign volunteers" by Ganesh, an overseas student from Three Gorges University, caused a great sensation on the Internet. 　　In October this year, China Three Gorges University, complete with the Three Gorges Daily, launched the column "Yichangin the Eyes of Overseas Students", which reflects the development and changes of Yichang since there form and opening up 40 years ago through in-depth interviews with overseas students of China Three Gorges University. Ganesh is one of the overseas students who are to be interviewed by our reporters.

　　Ganesh is the leader of the Volunteer Service Team of the International Students Association of Three Gorges University. He is very fond of social community work. In more than seven years in Yichang, he has organized and participated in nearly 200 volunteer activities.On November 17th, in the drizzle, he and some foreign students from Three Gorges University, as well as more than 200 volunteers from Yichang, came to the riverside to guard the beautiful shoreline of the Yangtze River, then they went to the nursing home to accompany the elderly.Reporters of our newspaper conducted in-depth interviews with Ganesh about the volunteer service activities. On November 21st,the text, pictures and video named The Reason why foreigners Collect Garbage in Yichang in the drizzle is that...were released by the official Wechat of the Three Gorges Daily, and then they were forwarded by many fans.On November 22, the article Volunteer Service: Unforgettable and Special "Yichang Temperature”was published as the first news in the second page of the Three Gorges Daily, which attracted much concern from readers of the whole city and other media such as China News Agency.

As soon as it was published, the article was forwarded by dozens of mainstream media such as Xinhua New Media 100, CCTV, Democracy and Legal Network, China Volunteer Network, Sina, Netease, Sohu, Global Network, Oriental Network and Mass Network in a few days.
