Since I went to The China Three Gorges University, I have made an acquaintance with him--my foreign teacher, Bloomer. He is one of the best person I have seen so far.

　　The first class he taught us how to be a good person, with kind and meaningful words. He was so tall and strong in my deepest impression, making us feel a sense of safety. Besides, his way of teaching was quite different from my Chinese teachers. His class brought us delight and relaxation and we wouldn’t feel it was difficult to communicate with a foreigner. He always told us many examples of real life and people in his lifetime vividly, and ended with educational conclusions.

　　To be honest, I have been considerating that appointing foreigners to be our Chinese students’ teachers is unwise. However, after being taught by Mr.Bloomer, I changed my mind.

　　If my memory dosen’t betray me, I remember there was a time when he asked us to do at least one good thing which we thought it was good in group or individually. Most of us chose to do it in group. To our great surprise, he gave each of our group 60 yuan which came from his own salary. It astonished me a lot. As a student, I haven’t met any teacher who taught their students to help others by these way. What I have known is that they only talk about it but never tell them how to achieve it. On the contrary, Bloomer did it much better. Each group had different plans on how to help people who really need it. I remember that my group used the money to buy around twelve pairs of respirators and earflaps then we came to the street and presented them to the cleaners who was exposed to the cold wind. I would never forget how delight and moved those cleaners felt.

　　Thanks to the kindness of Bloomer so I can be a good person. He is my American teacher but my life teacher more.
