China  Three   Gorges  University  is  a  comprehensive  university. There  are  many  foreigners  from  several   countries. So, it’s  a  pretty  good  chance  for  our  Chinese  to  make  friends  with  them, which  would  be  a   wonderful  experience. And  i   am  the  one  who  have  a  friend  from  Bangladesh. It’s  a  real  experience  on  me.

　　Our  first  met  was  in  the  Skating  Rink  behind  NanYuan  by  accident. I  was  a  freshman  then  and  he   also  was  new  here.We  were  both  new   hands   to  learn  skating  with  our  friends.I  skated  a  little  better  than  him.So  when   he  fell  down  to  the  ground  i  give  him  a  hand,which  became  our  first  acquaintance. I  taught  him  some  skills  to  how  to  skate  with  my  poor  English.But  he  still  praise  me  that  my  English  is  good  which  made  me  very  embarrassed.Then  we  went  back  dormitory   and  left  phone  number. In  the  latter  days, he  called  me  frequently, but  i  was not  willing  to  answer  him.Not  only  because  i  thought  my  oral  English  is  poor,but  also  i  was  a  little  fear  result  from  our  unfamiliar  relationships.Because  in  china ,we  won’t  get  very  close  with  a  stranger  or  a  friend  you  have  just  known  in  such  a   short  time.But  i   still  contacted  with  him  online  chatting  in  order  to  be  a   friendly  person.

　　These  kind  of  days  last  about  two  weeks.And  always   express  his  affections  to  me,which  i  tried  hard  to  avoid. One day ,he  acquired  me  whether  i  had  time  to  accompany  him  to  buy  skating  shoes.I  refused  indirectly  with  the  reason  of  having  test  that  day.But  he  didn’t  believe  me,thought  i  was  a  liar.  Then ,within  a  long  time,he  didn’t  contacted  me.

　　On  the  Christmas’  Eve,he  told  me  that  he  had  prepared  apples  for  me,which  made  me  a  little  surprised.So  i   prepared  one  for  him  too.Because  i  had  many  things  that  day,he  called  me  whole  day  in  order  to  give  me  the  apples  until   he  finally  gave  them  to  me.I  asked  the   reason  why  he  gave  me  two.He  told  me  because  he  was  a  boy !How  interesting!

　　The  other  day ,he  wanted  to   borrow  some  money  from  me,  which  made  me  so  confused.He  said  he  was  in  a   urgent  but  i  hesitated  so  much.I  was  the  first  time  that  a  foreigner  borrow  money  from  me. Although  we  knew  each  other  for  about  two  years  and  he   promised  me  that  he  would  return  me  within  two  days , i  also  had  some   worries. I   consulted  some  friends  to  give  me    some  advice  and  all  of  them  suggested  me  not  to  lend.So  i  refused  him   again,which  made  him  very  angry. Even  said  something  rudely.He  told  me  that  he  wouldn’t  believe  me  any  more   and  all  Chinese   are  just  like  me,which  made  me   very  speechless.Maybe  it’s  the   differences   between  two  cultures.

　　I  don’t  think  i  was  wrong.Because  i   just  think  about  things  like  most  Chinese  do.We   should  think  twice  before we  making  the  decisions.Am  i   wrong?And  i  cant  stand  for  all  Chinese. I  do  it ,so  everyone   will   do  it  like  me?It’s  the  gap  in  our  relationships  with  foreigners ,how  to  relieve   the  gap  and  build  a  better  relationships  are  what  we  should  think  about. Let’s  hand  in  hand   to  make  good   friends  with  foreigners  to  gain    quite  different  happiness!
