An awaking from sleep
2015-11-09 09:07:11

This little story I’m going to tell is for real, based on my own experience if you don’t believe so, please just skip it.

It was a night, when I opened my eyes, I found myself lying by the side of a lake.

The crescent was hanging over the top of a tree, which, occasionally sways when touched by a breath of breeze. The crescent was also flirting with the lake, cast her slim figure over the soft surface of the lake, drawing a beautiful eyebrow that resembles a slender willow leaf. The lake, however, touched by the tenderness, smiled with its bashful ripples.

I rambled alongside the bank drown in sorrow, I just can’t resist the yearning to be with her, to be after her, someone nothing can be dearer.

Walking along side the bank, tender was the night, with the glister of reflection from the crescent, pleasantly quiescent as everything has slumbered except for the leaves, which was occasionally murmuring with its feathery softness around my ears, like a piece of simple music played by a rover . I continued my wandering, savoring this bitterness.

I walked slowly and slowly and slowly, and all of a sudden, I caught a drifting scent of roses which is almost as impalpable as the worn utterance traveled from several miles away, but the scent, I am sure is different from the others. I mind wondered, my heart fluttered and I hurried my pace expecting eagerly that something would emerge ahead.

Breeze combed through my hair, and grass brushed upon my feet. The sweet scent grows clear and finally floating all around as I behold a petals’ blanket. I ceased, bending down and felt the gentle of the flowers which had been so familiar to me just like her. Sorrow began to erode my heart as I recalled this, and soon grown irresistible. Desperately, I kneel down with a penetrating snarl and looked around, nothing was found but the dreadful shade and the pale rocks covered with death-like moon dust. I struggled on my feet and staggered back, then, unexpectedly, in the front, a familiar figure run into my eyes. She was sitting on the lawn of tiny flowers, against her jet-black hair flows quietly on her back, her delicate cheeks are soft and sweet in its bloom as a rose, quiet as she was, like the night. The moon poured its milky gleam over her, she becomes an angle in the wonder land, she raised her head and looked around with anonymous eagerness to see someone, and her eyes are still, intoxicating under the long flashing lashes.

  I know she would come.

I stand by her, with thousands of words in my heart to tell yet surprised to find myself unable to give out any utterance. Being scared, I tried to reach her with several strides yet only to find my legs are planted into the ground. Even so, I struggled with all my might to get my beloved. I digged my legs but being horrified to realize that they had transformed into strong roots, running deep into earth, I tear at them, then blood splashed and soaked the ground where I was fixed. Anger, struggle and shout but ultimately, I fall, and sobbed my heat out. I just looked at her with tears streaming down, she raise, she sigh she turn and turn and left.

the whole world then began to fail, roses began to frail and wither, the moon began to wane, the murmur of the steam died down and the entire world started to fade, a gust of wind puffed through the woods, the foliage cried in unison and the then departed from the branches dancing with the wind in the air, no sooner after, the air is thick with cloud and fluttering leaves, several blast followed, all the trees were deprived of their flourish vividness and hence as naked as David.

The whirling wind swept by, drifting the leaves along accidental like, and gave out a sigh of grief. Simultaneously, the rain began to fall, little by little and gradually rattling on the ground like a messy music played by the awkward, the rain silently diverted into flakes floating in the air, and becomes crazy and finally the showering the feather. Tired of the whole thing, I fell asleep quietly, with tear dribbling quietly.

I awake, finding myself was asleep on the table of tears, through the window, comes inside the dry wind of America, where the  school I exchange for locates, I pick up my phone and sent a message:  I miss Yichang so much.
