My exchange student trip to the France
2015-11-09 09:08:37

I’m very pleased to have such an opportunity to see the outside world..

  French education model

In France, classes usually begin at 9 o\'clock or 10 o\'clock. Very few classes commenced at 8:00. they don’t have Morning Reading concept and they can not even understand why we Chinese people always read in the morning, because they never read aloud. Generally, they only have one hour of rest in noon, which troubles me a lot. Because I used to take a nap in China, so in the after noon, I’m always in low spirits. Maybe they think that there’s no need to take rest in noon, because the classes begin so late in the morning.

The French call their classes a few hours instead of a few sections, they do not have a class ring. Only when the teacher the class is over, can they have a rest.

The textbooks are never used in the French school, but a variety of copied materials. Because they feel that with a textbook, they can only learn one person\'s knowledge and ideas. But with a lot of printed papers from different people, it is easier to broaden our thinking.

Frenchman focus on cooperation, several groups will be divided to discuss a theme or to complete a task together. There may be a leader in partnership, but they encourage everyone to participate equally in it to express their point of view. But they also attach a great importance to independent thinking, teachers also always like to say, everyone must do this work independently.

Frenchman encourage students to express themselves, if the number of student is not too huge, basically, there will be a presentation in each course

What impresses me the most is that, in France, teachers always let to ask questions to find the problem, then solve the problem by discussion and summarize the problem together instead of asking you turn to certain page, and so on.

  Life

In France, I lived with a French grandma. It is a experience really enjoyable.

The grandma seemed to represent the most French, courteous, polite. Although she was the real owner of the apartments, but every time before she entered in the apartment, she knocked the door three times to show her politeness; she always cleaned the room for me just like my own grandma, she always accompanied me out to buy what I need. Every time we were both in the apartment, I studied, read while she painted and did handwork. I really like this kind of feeling: we respect each other but we are close to each other.

In a word, the trip to France let me learn a lot, and it makes me grow up once again.
