Great development in Social and economic today has not only made it easier and more comfortable for us to live,but also made it possible and fashionable for us to go abroad. I have never been abroad,but I think that I am fortunate enough to know many fantastic foreigners.All of them are my teachers.They are Bryan,Jane,Bloomer and Pamela .Until now, who have impressed me deeply was Mr.Bryan and Mr.Bloomer .
I can still remember the first time I saw Bryan.He had golden short hair and he wore a pair of gilt-edged cute glasses.He was an experienced Oral English teacher in our school.Because he told us that he had been teaching in our school for five years.What’t more,many senior students told us that Mr Bryan was an excellent teacher and he was very popular among students.
He was talented in many aspects. He could always make his class interesting and make it possible for us to acquire the knowledge with ease at the same time.As he can speak Chinese,so he did a great job in communicating with foreigners travelers in the last Peach Blossom Festival.
He is very humorous.everytime we were in a low mood, he could make us laugh by various ways.He can make a whistle and imitate the sound of many animals.One of his trick was to imitate some of us.I used
to sit in the front row in his class and I liked to use my hands to brace my head with my eyes fixed on the blackboard.He liked to imitate me by this action and it made the whole class laughed to tears.
He is talktive,by communicating with him,we became to know each other better.He likes drinking cold water,especially cold juice during the break of class.He likes watching thriller,and he has shared his experience after watching the Walking Dead with us.He can speak Chinese,and he married a Chinese wife in Yichang.
When I was a freshman, he was responsible for the English Village.During the activity time,he accompanied us to play many funny games.What impressed me most was teaching us how to make pumpkin lamp when the Halloween came.Moreover,He cooked cookies for us ,which ere very delicious.Although everyone of us can just have a little bite of it,we were very happy.
Mr. Bloomer taught me when I was a sophomore.In my impression he was very handsome hecause he was tall and he had beautiful blue eyes. When we took his first class, she introduced his family to us.After the class,I chatted with him,and shared my gum with her.Through the conversation,I thought he was very outgoing and friendly.
In our perspective,Mr. Bloomer is a very kind,active and considerate person. He often chooses many splendid movies for us in his classes .He is a very loving father,he often hanging out in his spare time with his children even though he is busy.He likes travelling and he is pleased to share his experience with us.He likes to tell us something about his country hoping that we can have a better understanding of his country’s culture.
He is very helpful.Whenever I have trouble,he is willing to help me.When I told him that I have problem in oral English.Sometimes if I have time after his class,he would walk by my side and communicate with me in English. When I was making the book the Brochure of living in Yichang Chinese&English,which is mainly designed for foreigners who came to Yichang.He spoke highly of it,and helped me in giving many practical suggestions in improving it.Under the help and guidance of many great teachers,we finished the book as planned.What distinguished the book from others is that it make introductions in trilanguage,Chinese ,English and pinyin.
What impressed me most was that he asked us to have a debate in groups in one of his classes.I did very bad in the debate,I was stuck and couldn’t even speak a word.At the end of our team’s performance, I was so upset that tears burst out.At that moment,Mr Bloomer walked to my side,he stooped to my ear and said softly:Cassie,it doesn’t matter, I believe you are the best,you can do it better next time.I looked into his eyes, and saw his friendly and encouraging smile.I nodded and admitted that I was a girl of inferiority complex.And his words like sweet spring that moisten my dry heart. I gained my confidence again after that.In the final exam,we were requested to have a debate.I made full preparation for the topic Cooperation or Competition,Which Is Better for Us? Mr.Bloomer said that I made a good presentation in the final exam.
Now Mr.Bryan has gone back to his hometown in America.And Mr. Bloomer is leaving for his hometown this summer ,either.Apart from what I have talked about ,there are probably many other foreign English teachers that I will get acquaint with.I think maybe it’s time for me to get a good command of knowledge and make myself a chance to go abroad.
