Yichang is a beautiful city found in the Hubei Province of China, In Chinese yichang is written as Yichang where the first character Yichang means “Suitable, Appropriate” and chang means “Prosperous, Flourishing” hence yichang can be regarded as a Suitably appropriate City for settlement which is prosperous and flourishing in many aspects. When I was just about to reach yichang city, the CRH train workers began to introduce the beautiful city to us, This city is also known as the City of Chinese poetry, the City of Piano. It is the Birth place of many historical personages like Wang Jia Jun and Chu yuan. Yichang is well known worldwide for its water power since one of the worlds’ biggest Dams called The Three Gorges Dam is found in yichang. Yichang is Prized as Chinas’ top Sanitary city, Chinas’ top ten food safety City of China with a rapid growth in infrastructural development infact commonly regarded as the best investment City of China. Yichang also contains many other tourist attractions such as the tenth most highest waterfall in China, San xia ren Jia(Three Gorges Peoples’ Home),The Beautiful underground Lightening Legendary Statutes, The beautiful Museum, and many more other beautiful sites some of which will be described latter. This prestigious City has one main university called “China Three Gorges University,CTGU” which is an old special university which was formed by the combination of many colleges during the lunching of the construction of the Three Gorges Dam project. This amazing beautiful city also contains many companies such as the Angel Yeast Company and many other food and drink industries. Yichang is a level city with many natural resources hence the weather conditions are very ‘’cool’’ that is to mean not too hot during the peak of summer and not too cold during winter, it has a fresh and pure air especially towards the suburbs compared to other cities.

　　I am called Tabufor Pride Asaanchire and I am opportune to be a student of China Three gorges university. I am a Cameroonian and 22 years of age.

　　My First Summer Vacation Camp In yichang. It was last year 2016 that I choosed to join the Summer vacation camp together with some unforgettable friends from Italy, Ghana, Russia,Bangladesh,America,Mozambic,… . This moments are one of the most unforgettable moments of my life. This camp was organized by our university and our friends came from far to spend those special moments with us. It was indeed an amazing experience whereby we visited many special touristic sites such as the Three gorges Dam, the Piano production company, the famous green tea production company, the wine production company, we also visited food production companies such as Angel Yiest company, we were at Chinas’ tenth most highest waterfall and many other touristic sites.Before I continue, I will like to express my feelings concerning the behavior of the yichang city locals, they are very hospitable and always ready to help foreigner’s to the best of their strength. Yes it is certain that most of them can’t speak English but what is important is their willingness to help neglecting language barrier. The following are a brief elaboration of our visit to some of the touristic sites in this Flourishing City.

　　Visit to the Three Gorges Dam; This Dam is about an hour away from our university by bus. We were explained that some of the reasons why the dam was constructed is to reduce the continuous over flooding which kept on occurring at the three gorges area leaving many families homeless, destroying their farms and causing many other destructions. It was also constructed to serve a major source of electrical power and with the hope that it will create more job opportunities. Immediately we arrived te reception, we had to get from the reception our touristic tickets provided by the university and boarded the dam visitation bus. We were also lead by a tourist guide who introduced the various parts of the dam to using a prototype before we ten went for the visitation. This site is really large and contains many sub-sections. We spent a wonderful moment and took many beautiful pictures. At the end of these visit, I had to conclude that my day was excellent and full of joy.

　　Visit to China’s tenth highest waterfall;Wow, It was during a very sunny day that the school summer vacation team decided to introduce Chinas’ tenth most highest waterfall to us. This waterfall is located in a small village about an hour away from school by bus. It was about 1:00pm that we arrived this well-known touristic area, after receiving our entrance tickets, we got in to the small tourist transportation vehicle that drove us to the amazing fall. Immediately after we arrived the fall, we were advised to buy some plastic coverings and to also protect our electronic gadgets since we were to go through the waterfall. Above the fall was a very visible rainbow displaying the beauty of nature and the glory of the waterfall, In fact the most exciting moment was the time we went through the fall, oh how amazing was the of sound produced by the falling water. Some friends went through it twice, others thrice. We got pictures and saw alsothe Buddhastatute which was constructed about 30m away from the fall. At the end of it all, we had to eat some sea food and prepare ourselves for the journey back to school. This day was indeed a special day, with special people visiting special places.

　　Visit to Yichang’s Angel Yeast Factory; this famous food manufacturing Factory is about 30minutes away from our University. It is an American Factory producing a variety of food products consumed both within and without China. This giant factory contains many departments immediately after arriving this Factory; a lady was introduced to us as our tour guide together with a translator. We were introduced the various departments including the online marketing department, we visited their packaging office seeing and appreciating their production machines and accessories. That was indeed a wonderful experience as a university student.

　　Visit to tu lao han(Food producing factory); This factory is located about an hour and fifteen minutes from our university. We were told by the tour guide that tu lao han in English means ‘’The honest farmer’’. This factory produces a variety of products both beverages and packaged food. The products of this factory are both consumed within and without china. We werenarratedthe history of this factoryand also shown pictures explaining the development of the factory until date. We were also given some already produced goods to try and given the opportunity to purchase those which pleased us. At the end of this visit we were also given gifts which we received happily. Indeed that they was a splendid day.

　　Visit to the German piano producing company; our visit to this company enhanced our thoughts towards music more positively, we saw the manufacturing process and also the testing process. We also played some newly already build pianos. The beauty of these pianos together with their harmonious sounds pushed us to inquire about their cost prices. These are organs and keyboard types of various dimensions and precisions. This was an awesome experience which brought about the love for piano in the life ofs many friends.

　　We also did visit many other sites and industries such a wine producing factories, tea producing factories… and experienced a great change of environment together with cultural differences. These summer camp to me was a ‘’ONCE IN TIME SUMMER CAMP’’.

　　Beautiful yichang is indeed a place to visit.
