Locatedin in Gaobazhou, Yidu City, Qinlin temple has a long history, beautiful geographical environment and rich cultural characteristics. Villagers are good at making riddles, guessing riddles, and obsessed with it.In Qinlin temple, almost everyone can tell riddles and can compare their own achievements at any time or anyplace. The villagers who master 30 to 100 riddles account for 15% of the total population of the village, mastering more than 100 accounting for 5%.

　　Qinlin Temple was named “Qinlin Temple Riddle Village in Hubei Province” by the Hubei Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and was named “Hometown of Folk Art in Hubei Province” by the Hubei Provincial Department of Culture in Jul.2002;it was named “Chinese Riddle Village” by the Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association in 2003.
