Crescenzio Rivellini, the Head of Delegation for Relations with China of the European Parliament, and his delegation consisting of a director of the Campania Commission in cooperation with Hubei and three fellow entrepreneurs from Campania made a visit to Yichang from March 26th to the 27th. In addition, the delegation was accompanied Li Yonghong, the Deputy Director of the Division of Europe and Africa of Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Province, H.E
　　On March the 26th, Chen Hechun, the Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Municipal People’s Congress, met with the delegation and invited them to dinner at Taohualing Hotel.  In addition, other government officials also participated in the reception. Chen introduced to the guests the economic development situation for the city of Yichang for the last few years. One project, Mr. Chen mentioned to the delegation was the emerging of the four pillar industries: equipment manufacturing, chemical industry, biological medicine and food processing. Mr. Chen proudly announced to the delegation about the significant progress made through the energy saving and the circular economy domains; which can be seen as the enticement for new investors. The Deputy warmly welcomed entrepreneurs from Campania to look into opportunities to invest in our city.
　　On March 27, the delegation left Yichang after visiting the Three Gorges Dam area. Before their departure, Mr. Rivellini thanked for the warm reception while speaking highly of Yichang’s picturesque scenery and its economic development. In addition, he expressed his wish to make an effort to promote the cooperation and communication between Yichang and Naples.（Zhang Song）
