On September 15, Liu Jianxin, Vice Mayor of Yichang, met the envoys delegation of six countries in Taohualing Hotel, which came to take part in the “Three Festivals”.

　　During the reception, Mr. Liu said that Yichang, a pleasant and prosperous city, is being constructed a well-known hydropower and tourist city in the world, so the Festivals can publicize and demonstrate it very well. Besides, as an open and inclusive city, Yichang has built friendly relationship with a lot of cities of countries and regions. There are nearly one hundred heads and chiefs of foreign countries visited Yichang since the reform and opening-up. We hope through the guests’ visit this time, friendly communications between Yichang and various regions in the world could be promoted, realizing mutual benefits and common development.

　　On behalf of the envoys delegation stationed in China, Ms Marta, Deputy Chief of Span Embassy in China and Minister-Counselor, expressed thanks for the reception. She said they will convey the precious friendship and gracious hospitality of the citizens that they have eagerly felt in Yichang and endeavor to promote more communications with each other.
