On November 2, Chen Hechun, Deputy Director of the Municipal People\'s Congress, met with Abadula Gemeda, Speaker of the House of People\'s Representatives of Ethiopia and his delegation in Yichan.

　　Chen extended his welcome to the Ethiopian delegation and introduced to them Yichang’s new rural construction, the Three Gorges Project and economic and social development of Yichang. He hoped that Yichang would enhance exchanges and co operations with Ethiopia in new rural construction, hydropower and education and  encourage more businessmen of Yichang to invest and start business in Ethiopia.

　　Abadula Gemeda said, Yichang is a very beautiful city. They not only visited the Three Gorges Project, but also had a deep impression on the new rural construction of Yichang. He also said that Ethiopia is developing rapidly while many rural areas in Ethiopia need to learn how to plan and construct. Yichang has good experience in new rural construction and economic and social development. He welcomed Yichang\'s entrepreneurs to invest and start business in Ethiopia.
