Huang Chuping, member of the Standing Committee of the Hubei Provincial CPC Committee and Secretary of the Municipal CPC Committee met with a Hungarian delegation headed by former Hungarian Prime Minister Gyurcsany Ferenc this week.

　　Huang welcomed the delegation and introduced the economic and social development of Yichang. He said that the prosperous economy, beautiful landscape, splendid architectures, the profound friendship that the Hungarian people show for Chinese people and the spirit of reform and innovation of Hungary all deeply impressed Chinese people. Hungary is one of the countries which first established diplomatic relations with the People\'s Republic of China. As China’s good friend and partner, Hungary has close relationship with China in economy, technology, culture, education and other fields. In recent years, exchanges between Yichang City and Hungary has increased and economic and trade cooperation has deepened. Currently, China is vigorously implementing some significant strategies, including “One Belt One Road”, Yangtze River Economic Belt and Urban Agglomeration in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River. Huang hoped that the delegation would take this opportunity to support and promote further exchanges and in-depth cooperation between Hungary and Yichang City. Both Hungary and China should make a difference for mutual development of China and Hungary.

　　Gyurcsany Ferenc was grateful for the warm hospitality and considerate arrangements. He said that he was deeply impressed by the huge progress made in development in China and admired it deeply. China is the engine of global economic growth, which means that Chinese economic development has great influence on the global economic development and they are inseparable. There is a good beginning in the exchanges and cooperation between Hungary and Yichang City. Hungary has accumulated rich experiences in innovation, environmental protection and other fields and Gyurcsany Ferenc hoped that both countries would further strengthen exchanges and cooperation.
