Wang Yinghua, the vice mayor of Yichang met Eitan Neubauer (the Agricultural Science and Technology Counsellor of Israeli Embassy in China) on March 11.

Wang expressed his welcome to Neubauer and made a brief introduction of Yichang and its agricultural achievement. He said, with the abundant hydropower resources, cultural resources, and tourism resources, Yichang ranked top in Hubei province in the aspect of comprehensive economic strength. So he hoped that Israeli experts could visit Yichang more often to deepen cooperation and exchanges between the two places, and constantly explore new field of cooperation.

In order to further promote the city\'s modern development of the fisheries industry, and comprehensively promote the fusion of city\'s aquaculture industry from first industry to first, second and tertiary industries, and the transformation from linear economy to high-end industries model of circular economy, the China Association of Science and Technology and the Association of Science and Technology of Hubei invited Neubauer and his team to investigate agricultural development of Yichang on March 6 to 18. At the same time, the Israeli experts’ fisheries development and practical technical training classes will start.

During the two-week expedition, the Israeli experts will visit modern fishery breeding base, cooperatives, aquatic products processing enterprises in Changyang and Zhijiang.
