On November 10, Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, director of the National Accountability Bureau of Pakistan, visited Yichang with his delegation. Huang Chuping, member of Hubei provincial Party Committee and secretary of Municipal Party Committee of Yichang, met with him and his delegation in the urban area of Yichang.
Huang Chuping greatly welcomed them and introduced economic and social developments of Yichang and Hubei province. Although there was a far distance among Hubei, Yichang and Pakistan, they contracted closely and formed a deep friendship. In recent years, with the national strategy of “One Belt One Road” and construction of “China–Pakistan Economic Corridor” accelerated, exchanges and cooperation have been increasingly strengthened among Hubei province, Yichang and Pakistan, which gained a series of achievements. As a hundred-year enormous flood disaster occurred in Hubei province this year and brought serious losses, one thousand tons of rice was donated to Hubei by Pakistan for conveying their deep friendship to Hubei, which deeply moved us a lot, said Huang.
When meeting with Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, director of the National Accountability Bureau of Pakistan, Wang Qishan, secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI)， said anti-corruption cooperation between China and Pakistan has become an important component of their all-weather strategic cooperative partnership so he put forward that these two countries should strengthen anti-corruption exchanges and cooperation. Chaudhry’s visit in China not only set up a platform to enhance the anti-corruption cooperation, but a cooperation platform for the communication of economy, culture and other various aspects. I sincerely hoped that communication and cooperation would be enhanced among people of Hubei, Yichang and Pakistan to promote mutual developments and progress, said Huang Chuping.
Chaudhry admired that the Three Gorges Project was a historical magnificent feat of human engineering history as its attracting worldwide attention, and Yichang was a gorgeous city with a pleasant climate. He said, under constant efforts of leaders in China and Pakistan, they set up an all-weather strategic cooperative partnership of these two countries, and it was worthwhile learning much great experience created in the work of anti-corruption by China. He showed that they would deepen exchanges and cooperation with Hubei and Yichang in various fields to promote better mutual developments.
