On the same day, the delegation went to Qinggangling Tea Park in Tujia Autonomous County of Wufeng, Wufeng Business Pioneer Park for E-commerce, Hubei Caihua Tea Industry Co.Ltd, Hubei Tea Museum and Hubei Changshengchuan Brick Tea Institute and other places to investigate tea gardens and tea production bases in Yichang. Wandering among green mountains and beautiful rivers, those purchasers, visited the tea gardens, appreciated the tea art and tasted the tea of different flavors and types. They were all attracted by Chinese traditional tea culture and spoke highly of tea in Yichang. Liu Junguang, Malaysia chamber of commerce brought 11 businessmen at his first visit to Yichang and told reporters that before this time, he once had communicated with Hubei tea merchants in the Canton Fair. He mentioned that for this time, he was impressed deeply not only by the neat tea gardens, but also the amazing tea culture in Yichang. He said that he will speak for Yichang tea and make efforts to promote more cooperation between international tea merchants and Yichang.

The conference set up a bridge between Yichang and the tea purchasers of countries along the “One Belt And One Road”. At the spot, the international tea committee chairman Ian Gibbs said that specialty tea shops in Europe, Africa and Latin America are booming and he hoped that Yichang tea can be connected with international market actively and spread to all over the world. “The tea is inherently sweet and while seeing the tea picking girls’ smile in the tea garden I feel that the tea is sweeter than honey.” Russian duma senator maximova Svetlana raised her thumb after tasting the tea. She said Chinese tea is popular with the Russian people and that the promotion of the tea trade will further deepen the friendship and enhance economic and cultural exchanges between the two countries.(Reporter Rong Fei, Tian Shuaiqi, correspondent Liu Yali)
