Recently, Xu Fengying and Zhu Rui, two Nursing teachers who teach at the Medical College of Three Gorges Polytechnic, have been invited to Denmark Basic Medical Nursing College for academic exchanges and cooperation. During their visit, two teachers have taken the opportunity to promote the traditional Chinese medicine, which attracts many Danish students’ attention.

　　The faculty and students in Denmark Basic and Medical Nursing College are fascinated with Chinese medicine, with particular interest in acupuncture, massage, cupping, scrapping and moxibustion. Centered on those commonly used treatment methods, Prof. Xu Fengying gives a general introduction to the basic knowledge and the principle of Chinese medicine. Afterwards, Prof. Zhu Rui has demonstrated the operation methods and cautions of cupping, including the cup’s adsorption, retaining, and gas cupping by using the negative pressure suction tank that he took from China. “The traditional Chinese medicine culture, being rich and profound, has a long history. Natural therapy is an indispensable medical treatment for promoting human’s health. Chinese medicine has been able to explain the pathology that some western medicine can't, which fascinates me.” Quite a few Denmark students expressed their appreciation for the traditional Chinese medicine culture.
