The 14th Global University Network(N.E.W.S) Conference was inaugurated at China Three Gorges University campus on November, 2nd. Delegations of the universities and colleges from more than 20 countries and regions, including China, America, Britain and Germany and so on, as well as certain domestic enterprises attended the meeting.

　　The meeting lasted for 2 days, in which the delegations from over 20 universities and colleges at home and abroad as well as several enterprises participated. Theparticipants of the conference engagedinin-depthdiscussions and communication on the topics related to the theme of the conference—“Strategies of Contemporary University Education and Vision to face Industrial Revolution 2.0”, namely, internationalization of education, sustainable development, the construction of first-class universities and multicultural communication, etc..

　　The Global University Network(N.E.W.S) was founded in Berlin, Germany in 1994, for the purpose of promoting the exchange and cooperation between universities and colleges of the east and the west.
