On 18 and 19, 15 guests from BelarusandKazakhstan visited some tea-productiveplacesand tasted fragrant tea. They alsogot into close contact with the key enterpriseswhich are going global and learnedin-depth of the economic developmentandinvestment environment of thecity.
Wufeng, famous for tea,is the first stop for the seminar guests in Yichang. Being the birthplace of Chinese black tea and the core production region, Wufeng takes teaasthe media to integrateinto the marine journey of “The Belt and Road”. The smallblack tea leaves cross the sea followingthe eastward golden waterway and spread in Europe, leaving on European countries a Yichangimpression.
In the Southwest Tea Market, the guests of the seminar held cups of Wufeng black tea and Caihua Maojian Tea, and smelled or tastedin cheerful and pleased conversations. Alina Griskevi, vice president of the Belarus-China Friendship Association, tasted three cups of teaand commented“very fragrant and tasty.” Sheand hercompanions bought several bags of tea and various teapots on the spot to bring back to their country as souvenirs.
Walking into one of the most beautiful tea gardens in China—the Qinggangling Ecological Tea Garden, the guests of the seminar overlooked the beautiful scenery of the rolling hundreds of acres of tea garden. At Hubei Tea Museum, Nurzamal Alda, professor of the Department of Oriental Studies in Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Ph. D. in history,bought a dark brick tea(compressed dark tea)with the word of “longevity”on it.“My friends will certainly like the brick tea which represents Chinese culture,”he said.
For the "love" between Asia and Europe,Yichang wassparing no efforts. From May 7 to 10, the annual International Tea Trade Fair was launched in Yichang. In just 4 days, purchasers from 16 countries and regions along “The Belt and Road” signed with Yichang tea enterprisespurchasing agreements of 8080 tons of tea, amountingto100.1 million dollars.

Ltd. so as to sellWufeng tea not only inBelarus but also in the neighboringcountries ofthe Eurasian Economic Union and in EU countries.

Macevilo Alexei, director of the General Administration of Economic Integration of the Ministry of Economy in Belarus, was very excited. He told Yu Qun that Belarus willbuild a pharmaceutical industrial park whichradiatesthe whole Europe, and he was eagerly looking forward to the joining ofYichang Humanwell Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.
