From May 17th to 18th, the press corp from African branch of China International News Exchange Center, organized by China Public Diplomacy Association, came to Yichang for a visit. The press corps learnt about the industrial development and new rural construction, and visited the three gorges construction site.

　　The reporters visited the Angel Yeast Co. Ltd, Yichang Humanwell Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., Hubei Hanway Ecological Agriculture Group, Three Gorges Project and Yang Jiafan Village in Yidu. Wherever they went, reporters listened carefully to the staff’s introduction and explanations, raised questions, understood China-Africa economic cooperation programs in detail as well as new rural construction experience. All reporters said that Yichang is a city with great characteristics and its experience in industrial development and new rural construction is worth learning. After returning, they will act as a link to introduce Yichang to their own country, promote deeper economic development and cultural exchanges between the two sides.

　　It is learned that this delegation is composed of 28 journalists from mainstream media in 28 African countries including Kenya, Botswana and Egypt.
