From November 9 to 11, a friendly exchange delegation headed by Lee Wong, mayor of West Chester City, Ohio, US, paid a visit to Yichang.

　　During their stay in Yichang, they visited not only Guanzhuang Village in Yiling District, the E-commerce Center and the Three Gorges Project, but also the Chinese Sturgeon Research Institute and the Yichang Planning Exhibition Hall in turn, so as to know more about the economic and social development and the new rural construction of the city. This three-day visit made them deeply impressed by the development of rural characteristic industries, the construction of its e-commerce platform and the magnificence of the Three Gorges Project as well as the blueprint for future urban development of the city. The guests also expressed their admiration for Yichang's achievements in its economic and social development.

　　West Chester City, situated in the southwest of Ohio, a sister state of Hubei Province, is an important part of the Great Cincinnati metropolitan area. During their visit, the delegation discussed exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in the fields of economy, trade, hydropower and environmental protection, and made active contributions to the further promotion of friendly exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.
