On May22, Yichang-Macao-Portuguese-speaking countries capacity cooperation meeting was held. Deputy Mayor Zhou Zhengying attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

　　Zhou said that Yichang is a key node city of the Yangtze River economic belt and a provincial sub-center city. The establishment of Yichang Free Trade Zone has added a new platform for Yichang’s foreign economic cooperation and exchange. She pointed that the China-Portuguese Forum is a multilateral cooperation organization with the responsibility to promote trade and economic development and hoped that this meeting will be an opportunity to further promote cooperation between Yichang and Portuguese-speaking countries in various industries for more fruitful results.

　　At the meeting, Yichang introduced the development of the Free Trade Zone. Representatives from seven Portuguese-speaking countries including Angola and Portugal introduced their domestic investment environment and preferential policies while issuing investment invitations to enterprises in Yichang.
