On the morning of October 9, Zhu Yanzhong, general manager of Yichang Dexin UtilityGas Co., Ltd., applied to renewaloan of 2 million yuan at the Online Financial Service Hall through a smartphone application called “Citizens’ E-Home”. On the afternoon of that day, Fang Chao, customer manager of Hubei Bank Corporation Limited, received the application. Later on, Zhu Yanzhong succeeded in getting the money.
“Upon suchonlineapplication for loans, banks can directly obtain relevant information fromthe government’s big data, thus reduce the relevant procedures and save time.” Zhu Yanzhong commented. Compared with the time spent on the past legwork involved in application, the present online application and approval time has been shortened by two thirds. The “Online Financial Service Hall” startedits trial operation from February this year. So far, on the platform, 26 financial products of 19 financial institutions have been on staticshows, and 7 credit products and 1 guarantee product of 9 banks and 1 bonding company have been directly handled online.
By October 14, the number of valid applications for financing loans through the service hall has reached 15,600, out of which 3,655applicants were credited 428 million yuan, and 2,171 lenders gave out 246 million yuan. To be specific, in the start-up guarantee loans,178 million yuan credit has been accumulatively grantedto928 people (clients) and141 million yuan was lentby734 people (units), accounting for 57.50% of the total lent; in the consumer loans,250 million yuan has been accumulatively grantedto2,727 people (households), and 105 million yuan lentto 1,437 people (clients), accounting for 42.50% of the total.
It’s learned from the Municipal Finance Bureau that the foundingof the hallhas been approved of and promoted inthe briefing of the joint meeting ofthe Free Trade Zone held by the State Council. In this year’s national credit information apps observation sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission, the hall competed fiercely with nearly 40 domestic well-known credit apps such as Alipay and Skyeye, and was listed among the top 10 of national credit apps, rankingthird in financial apps, and won the title of “excellent innovation project”.
