On the morning of March 30, the foreign experts and representatives of young talents from global top universities who have successfully joined hands with Yichang were invited to the opening ceremony of the Second Yichang “330” Sanxia International Talents’ Day.

　　At the ceremony, nine foreign experts, including Paolo Giudici, a famous Italian professor, received exquisite souvenirs granted by Yichang Municipal Government, and 10 young talent representatives from global top universities, including Li Ran received their “Yichang Talents Cards”.

　　“I was very surprised and touched to receive the package of ‘Yichang Talents Card’.” Li Ran, a graduate of the University of Queensland, said that the “One plus Four” Talents Introduction Policy of Yichang is very attractive, as is the reason for more and more young talents to join the city.

　　Attracted by the rich historical and cultural heritage, vigorous urban vitality, good development environment and warm talents ecology of Yichang, more and more foreign talents have chosen to start and develop their own business and career, tour and settle down in Yichang, striving for the further development of the city together with the people of Yichang in recent years.

　　Thomas Stephen RAMSEY, an associate professor from the School of Foreign Languages of China Three Gorges University, told the reporter that he participated in the making of a short video about navel oranges of Zigui County not long ago, which had nearly 30 million netizens from 29 countries around the world get to know and understand Yichang. In this city, he personally feels that the talents environment is getting better and better and is becoming full of warmth. He believes that more and more foreign talents coming to Yichang will be helpful for the city to broaden its channels and horizon of self-presentation abroad, creating a recognizable ID card of its foreign promotion.
