On May 25, 2023, the Yichang Tea Promotion Conference of the Guangzhou Tea Expo was held at the Canton Fair Complex. The Yicha Group, the Chexirenjia Ecological Agriculture Company and other enterprises signed contracts with dealers such as the Foshan Mingyue Tea Culture Co., LTD., and reached a purchasing cooperation investment agreement of 560 million yuan, covering tea products, tea raw materials and tea derivatives, etc.

　　Yichang has firmly focused on the goals of annual foreign trade, with the target tasks decomposed and refined into different stages and periods, and achieved the goals every stage and period in advance. According to statistics by the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Yichang has achieved a total import and export volume of 11.58 billion yuan during the first four months of this year, 10.44 billion yuan for exports and 1.14 billion yuan for imports, as the achievement of the phased goal of the initiative of “Thousand Enterprises Participating and Hundred Exhibitions Launched for Market Expansion”.

　　Besides, Yichang has started the initiative of “Thousand Enterprises Participating and Hundred Exhibitions Launched for Overseas Market Expansion”. From May 15 to 24, the Yichang Economic and Trade Delegation went to Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand to carry out a 10-day economic and trade exchange promotion to attract orders and investment. From May 17 to 24, the delegation of the municipal government was invited to Korea and Japan for friendly visits and trade and investment negotiations, reaching consensuses on mutual benefit of trade and economic exchanges, sharing of cultural and tourism resources, and co-prosperity of sci-tech innovation and culture. Recently, the delegation will be sent to France and Germany to meet with economic and trade cooperation merchants for negotiations.

　　Yichang has actively participated in domestic exhibitions to popularize of “Yichang Products”. Taking comprehensive exhibitions such as the Consumer Goods Fair, the Canton Fair, the China Innovation Fair and the International Expo as platforms, Yichang has held a number of special investment promotion conferences on the development of its export-oriented economy in the host places, which has shown the international influence of Yichang.
