　　On August 8, Yichang Grain Group held the signing ceremony of collaboration deals with the Songsan Agricultural Cooperative of South Korea and Edible Mushroom Monthly, a South Korea-based journal, aiming to ensure that Yichang’s mushroom spawn exports reach no less than 3 million annually. According to the agreement, the Songsan Agricultural Cooperative will procure a minimum of 3 million mushroom spawns each year, while also supplying premium Korean seafood to Yichang Grain Group for distribution in mainland China. The journal of Edible Mushroom Monthlywill leverage its influence in the Korean food industry to promote high-quality agricultural by-products from Yichang, with a focus on mushrooms.

　　Renowned for its production and distribution of mushroom seeds, spawns, and equipment, the Songsan Agricultural Cooperative can achieve an annual sales volume of 15 million spawns. As the sole specialized publication in the edible mushroom sector of South Korea, Edible Mushroom Monthlywields significant influence within the food industry of South Korea.

　　In a separate development, Yichang Grain Group has formalized a strategic partnership with the government of Yuan’an County to jointly develop various aspects of the edible mushroom industry, including production, sorting and processing.

　　Liu Kai, Chairman of Yichang Grain Group, revealed that the Group has been actively promoting the export of Yichang’s distinctive agricultural by-products this year. This initiative has paved the way for the export of 1,500 tons of mushrooms to South Korea, with plans to further enhance export quality and quantity by expanding into overseas markets with premium products like pickles and Hanway citrus fruit vinegar.
