The forum brought together over 20 university presidents from 10 countries, along with more than 200 experts, corporate representatives and students. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions under the theme of “Cooperation and Collaboration for a Better Future of Education.” During the forum, CTGU, HUBU, and WUST separately signed cooperation agreements with universities and enterprises from South Asia. The agreements aim to foster in-depth, comprehensive, and multifaceted cooperation in areas such as faculty exchanges, talent development, and scientific and cultural research.
At the closing ceremony, all participating university leaders jointly signed the “Yichang Initiative.” The initiative seeks to promote higher-level, deeper, and broader educational cooperation and exchanges between Hubei Province and countries in South Asia as well as beyond the region, through expanding the alliance’s network and deepening cooperation between universities and enterprises.
