Igor Ivanovich, the purchasing director of the Russian-Asian Fruits and Vegetables Trading Company, stated that Yichang citrus was favored by Russian consumers for its thin peel and excellent flavor. His company has been purchasing citrus fruits from Yichang and distributing them to various Russian cities, including as far as Moscow, with current weekly sales exceeding 200 tons.
