　　From November 29 to December 1, Anna Palacio, former Spanish Foreign Minister and leader of the Spanish People’s Party, led a delegation to Yichang at the invitation of the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee.

　　The delegation visited the Xingfa New Materials Industrial Park, the Yangtze River Protection Education Center, the Three Gorges Dam area, Xujiachong Village, and Hubei Qugu International Agriculture Group, gaining insights into Yichang’s ecological civilization construction, rural revitalization and industrial development.

　　Palacio expressed heartfelt gratitude for Yichang’s warm reception. She said that, through this visit, she had fully experienced the cultural heritage and unique charm of Yichang, and hoped to further strengthen communication and cooperation between relevant Spanish cities and Yichang at a deeper level.
