“Yichang Beer” debuts in Yichang
2024-12-05 14:12:04
On the afternoon of November 29, 40,000 cans of “Yichang Beer,” shipped from Almaty, Kazakhstan in refrigerated trucks after a journey of over 4,000km in seven days through the Khorgos port, arrived at Yichang Comprehensive Bonded Zone’s customs warehouse and will be repackaged for sale in selected Yichang supermarkets.

“Yichang Beer,” produced by Kazakhstan’s First Brewery, is sold in Central Asia and Russia, and this shipment marks its official debut in China through a licensed distributor.

“Yichang” became famous in Central Asia and Eastern Europe through Silk Road tea exports in the history. In recent years, inspired by the Belt and Road Initiative, the brewery chose “Yichang” as a Chinese cultural symbol and registered it as a trademark to boost market appeal and meet consumer needs.
