　　It was learned from the Yichang Sanxia International Airport Exit and Entry Inspection Station that, as of December 31, 2024, it has inspected a total of 106,000 inbound and outbound travelers and 721 international flights last year, setting new highs with increases of 16.8% and 25.8% respectively compared to the previous record year of 2019.

　　In 2024, the Yichang Sanxia International Airport has been gradually restoring passenger routes to Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, South Korea’s Seoul and China’s Hong Kong. This has led to a significant boost in passenger traffic. Last year, over 60,000 foreign travelers from more than 30 countries passed through the airport, accounting for 60.9% of the total. Compared to 2019, the number of foreign travelers increased by 23.7 times, making it the port with the highest proportion of foreign travelers in the province.
