As a historical museum, the Hubei Three Gorges Resettlement Museum comprises three parts, “The Gateway to the Three Gorges”, “Homeland” and “New Home”. Covering an area of 13,000 square meters, the museum serves various functions, including exhibitions, collections, and academic research. Designed by Professor Chu Dongzhu, the former Associate Dean of the School of the Architecture and Urban Planning of Chongqing University, it was opened to the public in June 2024.
The World Architecture Community Awards aims to highlight and recognize remarkable projects that have the potential to inspire exciting questions about contemporary architectural discourse. The awarded projects in the Built Architecture category encompass a total of 10, which are from China, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, Iran and other countries.
