Members of the Juxin Sweet Potatoes Cooperative were busy transplanting sweet potato seedlings in Jiaodi Village, Yuquan Sub-district, Dangyang County on April 12. “This year, the cooperative’s sweet potato planting area covers 600 hectares, and the output is estimated to be about 28 million kilograms,” said Wang Donghong, director of the cooperative. By expanding sales channels both online and offline, Dangyang sweet potatoes have not only opened up markets in big cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, but also been sold to many countries and regions such as the Netherlands, Malaysia and Singapore.
