On July 2, statistics from the Border Inspection Station of Yichang Sanxia International Airport showed that in the first half of 2025, the aviation port of the airport inspected a total of 559 inbound and outbound flights, handling over 66,800 inbound and outbound passenger trips, representing year-on-year increases of 62.5% and 25.58%, respectively, among which the number of inbound foreign passenger trips reached over 21,000, up 56.87% year-on-year. Additionally, the total number of foreign passengers entering under the visa exemption policy reached over 12,000, an increase of 94.1% compared to the same period last year.

　　It was learned that, in the first half of 2025, among inbound foreign travelers at the aviation port of Yichang Sanxia International Airport, those from countries such as Thailand, Vietnam and South Korea accounted for the largest proportion, making up 96% of the total.
