On September 18, Hubei Three Gorges Polytechnic and Pakistan’s Gomal University held a virtual signing ceremony for a memorandum of cooperation, marking the official launch of the “Jingchu Workshop” project.

　　The ceremony was attended by Khan Muhammad Wazir, Science and Technology Counsellor of the Pakistani Embassy in China, who delivered a video speech congratulating the partnership. He emphasized that this collaboration enriches the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and strengthens the bilateral “iron-clad” friendship.

　　Under the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate on student and faculty exchanges, joint research and training as well as the development of applied chemical technology programs. Leaders from both universities expressed their commitment to setting a new benchmark for vocational education cooperation between China and Pakistan.
