Yichang’s foreign trade exceeds 40Byuan in first three quarters

  Yichang’s total import and export valuereached 40.09 billion yuan in the first three quarters, representing a year-on-year increase of 21%; exports grew by 28.2% to 32.55 billion yuan, while imports stood at 7.54 billion yuan, according to Yichang Customs on October 27.

  From January to September, general trade, processing trade and bonded logistics accounted for 36.45 billion yuan, 1.32 billion yuan and 2.24 billion yuan, respectively. Private enterprises contributed 31.52 billion yuan to the trade volume, followed by state-owned enterprises at 4.26 billion yuan and foreign-invested firms at 4.31 billion yuan. Key trading partners included ASEAN countries (9.74 billion yuan), Brazil (4.84 billion yuan), Belt and Road Initiative countries (26.67 billion yuan) and other RCEP members (14.14 billion yuan).(Sanxia Daily: Reporter/Yang Jing, Correspondent/Huang Qian)
