In the first 11 months, the total value of Yichang’s foreign trade reached 48.95 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%, among which exports totaled 39.78 billion yuan, up 15.8%,and imports 9.17 billion yuan,up1.8%, according to Yichang Customs.
In terms of trade modes, imports and exports via general trade, processing trade and bonded logistics amounted to 44.45 billion yuan (up 19.9%), 1.61 billion yuan, and 2.79 billion yuan (up 62.1%), respectively. By enterprise type, private enterprises, state-owned enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises recorded import and export values of 38.53 billion yuan (up 20.3%), 5.23 billion yuan and 5.19 billion yuan (up 27.6%), respectively. Regarding trading partners, the top three were ASEAN, Brazil and the EU, with trade values reaching 11.86 billion yuan (up 20.7%), 5.88 billion yuan (up 82.7%) and 4.26 billion yuan, respectively. Trade with Belt and Road partner countries and other RCEP members stood at 32.79 billion yuan (up 20.8%) and 17.51 billion yuan (up 16.3%), respectively. In terms of products, major exports included mechanical and electrical products, labor-intensive products and agricultural products.
