From April, 19th to the end of May, a number of tourist groups with special tour trains will arriving in Yichang to visit Three Gorges Project. It is estimated that there would be 7 special tour trains carrying over 7,000 people to visit Three Gorges Project. On April 15th, the first special tour train “Sunset Glow ”carried 930 senior friends from Zhengzhou, Henan Province. The tourists came to the Three Gorges Dam Area and visited Tanziling Scenic Spot, the 185 Platform and the Damming Memorial Park. This was the first special tour train after the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Area expanding the market of middle-short-distance guest source area like Henan, Anhui, Hunan, Jiangxi Provinces, etc.

It is reported that on 19th , 25th and 27th of April, there would be another three special tour trains from Shangdong and Hunan Provinces to visit the Three Gorges Dam Tourist Area; in the mid-May, there would be the second special tour train “Sunset Glow ” from Henan Province. The tourists would mainly visit the Three Gorges Project and Hometown of Quyuan. In late May, two special tour trains each carrying thousand tourists respectively from Hunan and Yunnan Provinces are to arrive in Yichang to visit the Three Gorges Project.
